Explore key aspects of creating appealing,
original character concept art for games and film
industries. This course introduces the essentials
of character development – from references,
narrative, body structure, facial expressions,
clothing and props – to build a character’s
attitude and story. Using a range of techniques
and media, you will experiment with different
materials, styles and software to develop a
powerful, believable character from start to
finish. By the end of the course, you will
understand the industry-standard process for
creating character concept art, with various
character concepts and environment sets for your
portfolio.
